The tradition of statues

Some of them built statues of themselves.

Some of them worked towards becoming important and respected. Some of them longed to be loved. Loved by the masses, or loved by their children.

They all wanted to be remembered. Remembered also after they were no more.

Some of them followed the tradition of building statues of important people whom they respected.

Some of them followed the tradition of remembering their loved ones after they were no more.

Some of them remembered their loved ones when they were sad. Some of them remembered some without any reason.
